Job description
Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Automation Engineer with strong expertise in industrial valve automation, actuator selection, control-system integration, and project execution. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience engineering automation packages for ball, plug, butterfly, gate, globe, check, and severe-service valves. This role requires technical proficiency in pneumatic, hydraulic, electro-hydraulic, and electric actuation systems, along with the ability to manage projects from customer specification review through engineering, assembly, testing, inspection, dispatch, and site commissioning support
Key Responsibilities
Valve Automation Engineering
- Engineer and execute valve automation systems based on schematic drawings and customer requirements.
- Develop automation solutions for:
- Ball valves
- Plug valves
- Butterfly valves
- Gate, globe, and check valves
- Severe-service valves
- Select, size, and integrate:
- Pneumatic actuators
- Hydraulic actuators
- Electro-hydraulic systems
- Electric actuators
- Manual gear operators
- Ensure appropriate actuator sizing, torque selection, fail-safe configuration, and operational suitability.
