Assistant Manager - Safety Systems, Governance & Culture

Purpose of the Role

To strengthen organizational safety performance through governance, incident learning, ergonomic risk management, audit deployment, safety culture enhancement, engineering standard development, and effective implementation of corporate safety initiatives across manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Incident Learning & Closure Governance

• Establish and maintain a structured cadence for incident learning reviews across the site.

• Ensure timely communication of incident learnings to all relevant stakeholders.

• Track closure of corrective and preventive actions arising from incidents.

• Present periodic status updates to site leadership on open and closed actions.

• Monitor effectiveness of implemented corrective actions and share best practices.

2.Audit Planning & Deployment

• Plan and schedule Manufacturing Safety Index (MSI) audits on a quarterly basis.

• Coordinate with internal stakeholders and auditors for audit execution.

• Track audit findings and ensure timely closure of observations.

• Analyze audit trends and recommend improvement opportunities.
