POSITION TITLE: Project Planner POSITION REPORTS TO: Senior Project Manager DEPARTMENT: Commercial Execution & Growth POSITION EFFECTIVE: September, 2026
POSITION SUMMARY: The Project Planner is responsible for coordinating and organizing project activities, resources, and information to ensure successful execution of projects within specified timeframes and budgets. This role requires excellent organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and maintain project schedules, including tasks, milestones, and dependencies.
- Monitor and track project progress against established timelines.
- Part number generation and data entry.
- Collaborate with project managers and department leads to allocate resources effectively creating Bill of Materials for project execution.
- Account analysis of excessive / obsolete inventory levels.
- Identify potential risks and issues that may impact project delivery.
- Develop mitigation plans and escalate issues as needed.
- Attend project meetings to update team and customers on progress, risks, and issues.
- Prepare and distribute project status reports and documentation.
