Job description
Position Overview
The Senior Manager – QMS is a strategic leader responsible for driving the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the organization’s Quality Management System. This role ensures compliance with global quality standards, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations while fostering a culture of quality excellence across the enterprise. The position involves leading cross-functional teams, managing audits, and influencing organizational strategy to achieve world-class quality performance.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Leadership in Quality Management Systems
- Define and execute the organization’s QMS strategy aligned with business objectives and global standards.
- Oversee implementation and maintenance of QMS in compliance with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, ISO 26262, ISO 13485, ISO 14001, and other relevant standards.
- Champion continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging Lean, Six Sigma, and best practices to enhance process efficiency and product quality.
- Establish governance for documentation control, standardization, and quality assurance across all functions.
2. Compliance, Certifications & Regulatory Affairs
- Ensure adherence to international standards and regulatory requirements including RoHS, SEMI, AS9100, and customer-specific mandates.
- Lead certification audits, customer audits, and regulatory inspections; act as the primary liaison with external auditors and certification bodies.
