BE/B.Tech in Electrical Engg. Or (Preferred) ME/ M.Tech in Electrical Engg. - Power Electronics or Motor Drives
Job Responsibilities
- Design of Motor Control Algorithms using tools like Matlab Simulink.
- Implementation Control Algorithms using DSP / Microcontroller.
- Improvisation of algorithm code through testing using DSP / Microcontroller.
- Benchmarking and generation of ideas for better performance, quality, cost, weight.
- Keep track of global trends in relevant technology, regulations and develop long term road maps and appropriate work plan
- Ability to solve novel, difficult design problems with tight timing constraints.
Competencies
Technical/ Functional:
- Knowledge of complete life cycle of design of motor control algorithm
- Knowledge of different types of Motors such as Interior permanent magnet motor (IPM) and surface permanent magnet motor (SPM) used for traction applications.
- Knowledge of different theories and concepts of Motor Control algorithms.
