Job description
Zensar Technologies Limited is seeking an experienced SAP BASIS Consultant with deep expertise in SLES and SAP HANA to lead complex system migrations, upgrades, and performance optimization initiatives. The role focuses on moving on‑premises SAP landscapes to AWS Native Cloud, ensuring seamless transformation for SAP ECC and S/4HANA environments while collaborating with cross‑functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Plan and execute end‑to‑end SAP system migrations from on‑premises to AWS Native Cloud, ensuring minimal disruption.
- Perform SAP installations, upgrades, patching, kernel updates, and system refreshes on SLES and SAP HANA.
- Conduct homogeneous and heterogeneous system copies using SWPM, including migration planning and post‑migration validation.
- Lead SAP S/4HANA transformation projects using SUM DMO and DMOVE2S4.
- Install, configure, and administer SAP HANA databases, including tenant management, backup/recovery, and performance tuning.
- Monitor and troubleshoot SAP HANA and SAP Basis performance issues on UNIX/Linux platforms.
- Design and implement AWS infrastructure components (EC2, VPC, EBS, Load Balancers, Route 53, IAM, CloudWatch) for SAP workloads.
- Utilize AWS Application Migration Service (MGN) and cloud migration methodologies; advise on RISE with SAP where applicable.
- Develop migration strategies, conduct readiness assessments, estimate downtime, and manage cut‑over activities.
