Job description
We are looking for a Senior Data Governance Analyst – Master Data to be based in Chennai, India. Reporting to the Manager, Data Governance and Master Data, this role will be responsible for maintaining trusted account and customer master data across the Intellectual Property (IP) business. The role combines operational delivery, analytical investigation and continuous improvement, ensuring data quality, consistency and integrity across Salesforce and connected enterprise systems. The successful candidate will play a critical role in supporting business operations by managing account and customer master data, investigating complex data issues, maintaining governance controls and supporting strategic data initiatives
About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent relevant experience.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Data Governance, Master Data Management, Data Operations or a related discipline
- Strong understanding of customer and account master data management principles
- Experience managing account hierarchies, duplicate resolution, data cleansing and data enrichment activities
- Experience investigating data quality issues and identifying root causes
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
- Experience performing data audits and analysing large datasets.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
