Job Description: Senior Executive – Operations Department: Operations Function: Yard & Fleet Operations Job Summary Responsible for managing daily yard operations, ensuring efficient fleet movement, timely vehicle turnaround, customer satisfaction, and compliance with operational processes, documentation, and settlements. Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily yard operations, including vehicle placement, loading, unloading, and turnaround time.

• Coordinate with the control tower, transporters, and drivers to ensure smooth fleet movement.

• Ensure timely collection of Proof of Delivery (POD) and accurate system updates.

• Monitor fleet availability and vehicle readiness for loading and dispatch.

• Handle customer communication, operational escalations, and issue resolution within defined timelines.

• Supervise yard safety, maintenance, discipline, and operational compliance.

• Ensure timely trip settlement, driver verification, and ledger updates.

• Maintain accurate operational MIS reports and coordinate with Finance for cash and diesel reconciliation.

• Identify process gaps and implement corrective actions to improve efficiency and service levels.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Graduate in any discipline; Logistics or Supply Chain qualification preferred.

• Relevant experience in yard, fleet, transportation, or logistics operations.

• Knowledge of vehicle placement, trip settlement, POD management, and fleet coordination.

• Proficiency in MS Excel and operational systems.

• Strong communication, coordination, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
