Job Summary We are looking for a skilled Senior IT Analyst Applications (Manufacturing Engineering Business Analyst) to join our Solar IT Solutions - ERP Team, Caterpillar IT Division, Bangalore. The incumbent will bring strong functional expertise across engineering and manufacturing domains with hands-on knowledge of ERP systems, PLM integration, product structures, manufacturing master data, and business process transformation. This role will serve as a bridge between Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Operations, and IT teams to ensure successful delivery of ERP-enabled business capabilities and continuous process improvements. The ideal candidate should possess deep experience in Package Bill of Materials (BoM), Multi-Site BoM Management, Windchill Release-to-Production processes, Item Master setup, Routing configuration, Engineering Change Management, and Manufacturing Operations. The role requires the ability to gather business requirements, define functional solutions, support ERP implementations, and drive process improvements across engineering and manufacturing operations.
