Senior Officer/Senior Engineer (MG4) - Base Engine Department - Research & Development Business Unit - Khadki

1) Emission Testing Engineer. 2) Qualification: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering. 3) Experience: 6-8 years of relevant experience in engine emissions testing. 4) Hands-on experience in engine emission test bench operation, engine installation, test setup and troubleshooting. 5) Experience in emission test data analysis, validation, interpretation and technical report preparation. 6) Ability to drive test bench efficiency improvement, test optimization and downtime reduction. 7) Working knowledge of applicable emission regulations, including CPCB-IV+ for Genset engines and BSV for CEV engines. 8) Basic understanding of engine aftertreatment systems, such as DOC,DPF,SCR and EGR. 9) Basic knowledge of Engine Calibration tool preferably INCA or equivalent. 10) Exposure to emission certification, type approval, Cop and regulatory witness testing. Skills: 1) Proficiency in engine emission test bench operation and emission testing procedures. 2) Knowledge of emission measurement, data acquisition, validation, analysis and reporting. 3) Hands-on experience with emission testing software and tools such as AVL Puma-2,Horiba Stars and Iasys Orbit-E 4) Good understanding of steady state and transient emission test cycles ( 5 Mode,8 Mode,3 Mode, NTE,NRTC,RMC). 5) Strong understanding of emission testing protocols, regulatory requirements & safety standards. 6) Working knowledge of NABL accreditation requirements as per ISO/IEC 17025:2017 standards for testing laboratories. 7) Strong root cause analysis & trouble shooting skills related to test-bench instrumentation and emission testing issues. 8) Good technical documentation, communication and coordination skills.
