Job Description: Senior Pharmacist Job Title: Senior Pharmacist Department: Pharmacy Job Summary: The Senior Pharmacist is responsible for overseeing daily pharmacy operations, ensuring accurate dispensing of medications, maintaining inventory, and ensuring compliance with applicable pharmacy laws and regulations. The role also includes supervising pharmacy staff and providing appropriate medication guidance to patients. Key Responsibilities:

• Review prescriptions and dispense medications accurately.
• Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations and safety standards.
• Manage inventory, stock replenishment, and expiry monitoring.
• Maintain proper records of medicines, prescriptions, and controlled drugs, as applicable.
• Counsel patients on medication usage, dosage, and precautions.
• Supervise, train, and support junior pharmacists and pharmacy staff.
• Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
• Ensure proper storage and handling of medicines.
• Monitor pharmacy performance and maintain high standards of patient care.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) or Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm), as applicable.
• Valid pharmacist registration with the relevant State Pharmacy Council.
• Relevant experience in pharmacy operations.
• Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Knowledge of medication safety, inventory management, and pharmacy regulations.
