At Ciena, the SIEM Engineer and Integrator plays a key role in maintaining and advancing security monitoring capabilities across enterprise infrastructure, SaaS platforms, and cloud environments. This position drives security visibility, data integration, and operational effectiveness through scalable security solutions and collaboration with internal stakeholders. The role supports ongoing improvement of security operations by expanding SIEM capabilities and enabling data-driven decision-making.

How you will make an impact

• Monitor and recommend improvements to SIEM visibility across infrastructure, SaaS platforms, cloud services, firewalls, IPS/IDS, WAF, proxies, Office 365, Azure , AWS.

• Recommend solutions that address security visibility, data retention, and analytical requirements.

• Execute data onboarding, enrichment, and deployment of detection logic to enhance security operations.

• Coordinate with security and non-security stakeholders to implement security recommendations and integrations.

• Administer, monitor, maintain, patch, and upgrade security infrastructure.
