Job description
About the Role As a Software Test Engineer (AmTS), you are responsible for verifying ECU software and E/E system functions using the Automotive Test Suite (AmTS) as the standardized BMW test framework. You ensure repeatable, automated and CI-ready software testing and provide objective quality evidence for release decisions in accordance with BMW processes and SP2025 requirements. Your Responsibilities
- Ensure requirement-based verification of E/E system functions using the Automotive Test Suite (AmTS).
- Create, execute, and maintain automated ECU test cases and AmTS-specific test data.
- Apply AmTS as a one-fits-all test framework replacing heterogeneous test tools.
- Ensure standardized test specifications and uniform, analyzable test reports.
- Act as a quality gate by identifying defects, assessing risks, and supporting release readiness.
