Spare Parts Engineer

Purpose

• As Spare Parts Engineer, you play a key role in ensuring necessary Spare parts are available on time to support a smooth start-up of the operations. Your responsibilities include developing the Spare Parts Strategy and executing related analysis for new projects, while coordinating efforts across Project, Supply Chain, Vendors, Operations Readiness, Clients and Global Organization.

Responsibilities

• You develop a comprehensive Project Spares Strategy that encompasses procurement strategies, scope prioritization, budget distribution and forecast, preservation activities, target delivery dates, delivery locations, and tax considerations
• You execute the analysis and selection of operational and capital spares and consumables for new projects, ensuring that all required parts are procured in the correct quantities to mitigate risks to safety, environment, production, and business during the first years of operation, all within budget and timelines. Additionally, you determine purchase quantities based on sparing strategies, operational data from CMMS, and input from Discipline Experts and the Operations Readiness team
