Evolent partners with health plans and providers to achieve better outcomes for people with most complex and costly health conditions. Working across specialties and primary care, we seek to connect the pieces of fragmented health care system and ensure people get the same level of care and compassion we would want for our loved ones.

Evolent employees enjoy work/life balance, the flexibility to suit their work to their lives, and autonomy they need to get things done. We believe that people do their best work when they're supported to live their best lives, and when they feel welcome to bring their whole selves to work. That's one reason why diversity and inclusion are core to our business.

What You’ll Be Doing

Role Overview As a Senior Platform Engineer in Evolent's Platform Engineering & Operations (PEO) organization, you will build, automate, and improve the cloud and infrastructure platforms that Evolent's applications run on. You will work inside one PEO function and be measured on how much manual effort you remove from the way Evolent delivers and operates technology.

Why This Role Matters Evolent is transforming how it builds and operates infrastructure under a refreshed Platform Engineering & Operations operating model, grounded in four principles: Architecture First, Automation by Default, Reliability is a Shared Responsibility and Golden Paths Over Custom Solutions. You will turn approved designs into provisioned, automated, and documented platforms, and you will do it transparently, through formal handoffs, Office Hours reviews, and documentation your peers can actually rely on.
