Job Purpose/Overview

The Supply Planner translates the agreed demand plan into a feasible and executable supply plan that ensures product availability while balancing manufacturing capacity, inventory, service and cost. The role manages supply across multiple planning horizons — the rolling three-month supply plan, the rolling one-month production plan and detailed weekly production requirements — ensuring alignment between market demand and manufacturing capability. In doing so, the Supply Planner serves as the key link between the demand the business wants to fulfil and the supply the organization is capable of delivering.

Job Responsibilities

A. Demand-to-Supply Planning

• Receive the agreed demand / consensus forecast from Demand Planning and translate it into supply and production requirements by SKU, plant and relevant supply location.

• Convert unconstrained demand into a realistic constrained supply plan, considering manufacturing capability, inventory, material availability and other supply-chain constraints.
