Job description
You can look forward to these exciting tasks
- Act as the regional tax expert and primary point of contact for India and selected APAC countries, independently advising local management, finance functions and the Corporate Tax & Customs function on complex direct and indirect tax matters.
- Take ownership of corporate income tax compliance, tax reporting, tax audits and controversy management for the Indian entities, including review of tax positions, coordination of external advisors and communication with tax authorities.
- Lead and independently manage international tax and Transfer Pricing workstreams as part of the Corporate function for Webasto globally, including cross-border business models, restructurings, supply chain changes, documentation requirements and the assessment of tax risks.
- Drive the implementation, enhancement and monitoring of the Tax Compliance Management System (Tax CMS), tax controls and governance standards, ensuring consistent application of Group Tax requirements.
- Provide expert guidance on GST/VAT, Pillar Two and other emerging tax developments, identify risks and opportunities at an early stage, and translate regulatory changes into practical actions for the relevant entities and stakeholders.
