Job description
As a Team Lead within the Chassis function, you will be responsible for leading end-to-end engineering of safety attachments for commercial vehicles. You will drive project execution in collaboration with global teams, ensure adherence to regulatory and quality standards, and lead a team of engineers to deliver defect-free products aligned with project timelines. This role requires strong technical expertise in automotive design, program management capability, and leadership acumen to enhance team capability, foster innovation, and support cross-functional business objectives.
Responsibilities
Technical & Project Leadership
- Lead the design, development, validation, and release of frame-mounted safety systems, including rear and side underrun protection systems
- Deliver project milestones and Quality Gate requirements in line with time, quality, and cost objectives
- Drive engineering decisions balancing safety, quality, manufacturability, cost, and customer needs
- Ensure compliance with global regulations, internal standards, and product development processes
- Lead verification, validation, and proactive project risk management
