As a strategic step towards Sustainability: JSW Steel has established a Steel Recycling Business to cater the growing scrap demand. As part of this initiative, the state-of-the-art Scrap Processing Facility of ~0.5 MTPA is planned in the vicinity of Chennai. This plant encompassing shredding & baling operations to ensure high-quality scrap supply to the plant in the vicinity of Chennai.

Strengthening the Scrap Supply Chain: To further secure and enhance scrap availability, it is imperative to establish collection and processing centres across strategic locations.

Role Scope & Key Deliverables:

• The role covers the entire value chain - from

conducting comprehensive market studies and building the business case to securing requisite approvals, driving plant setup, and managing operations thereafter.

This includes in-depth market analysis, strong technical knowledge, project management skills, and coordination with vendors, contractors, and internal stake holders.

types, supply-demand dynamics, pricing trends, and regulatory changes in the Domestic & International Market
