Job Purpose
To independently execute testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and protection relay validation activities for 33kV GIS substations in metro rail projects while ensuring compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and applicable IEC standards.

· Complete testing and commissioning activities within project schedule.
· Achieve first-time successful energization with minimum punch points.
· Ensure zero safety violations during commissioning.
· Deliver complete commissioning documentation within project timelines.

· Maintain high-quality testing in accordance with IEC standards and project specifications.
Team Manager Responsibilities

· Allocate testing activities and monitor progress.
· Ensure proper utilization of testing equipment and resources.

Job Qualifications and Requirements
Knowledge and Experience
· Minimum 5 years of experience in testing and commissioning of 33kV GIS substations.
· Must be capable of independently handling complete commissioning activities.
· Strong experience with protection relay testing using Omicron or equivalent kits.
· Hands-on experience in:
a) 33kV GIS Switchgear
b) 33/415 Transformer testing
c) 33kv Cable testing
d) Over current & Earth Fault protection
e) Cable Differential Protection Relay
f) CT/PT /CB Testing and commissioning
g) SCADA Interface testing
h) Experience in Metro Rail, Substation, Utility, or Industrial Projects is preferred
1) Education and Certifications
· B.E./B. Tech or Diploma in Electrical Engineering
