Role Purpose Design, develop and support Java components as a senior individual contributor: delivering high-quality, well-tested and maintainable solutions, resolving complex technical problems, and supporting less experienced engineers within the team. Key Responsibilities Development & Design
- Design and build Java components, services and enhancements within the agreed architecture and standards.
- Translate user stories and specifications into clean, efficient and testable implementations.
- Handle complex technical problems, performance issues and non-trivial defects independently.
- Contribute to technical design discussions, estimation and solution options.
Quality Engineering
- Write and maintain unit, integration and regression tests to agreed coverage expectations.
- Participate actively in code reviews, providing and acting on constructive feedback.
