Workday Extend Developer

Role Purpose

Design, build, deploy, and support secure Workday Extend applications that address business requirements not met through standard Workday functionality. The role works closely with functional, integration, security, architecture, and user-experience teams to deliver scalable applications within the Workday ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery and translate business requirements into solution architecture, user journeys, data models, and delivery estimates.

• Develop Workday Extend applications using Workday-supported development tools, services, APIs, orchestration, and user-interface components.

• Integrate Extend applications with Workday business objects, business processes, security domains, reports, and external services.

• Design intuitive, accessible, and responsive user experiences aligned with enterprise standards.

• Implement authentication, authorization, validation, error handling, logging, monitoring, and audit controls.
