Grade: Business: Department: Wholesale Banking Coverage GroupSub-Department: Location: About Wholesale Banking Coverage Group The Wholesale Banking Coverage Group (WBCG) focusses on doing business with customers such as the Government, Strategic, large and mid-corporates and the SMEs across industries like Infrastructure, Engineering, Chemicals, Oil& Gas, Metals, textiles etc. The Corporate lending business emphasizes on doing business with higher rated corporates with a focus on garnering a higher share of the cash flows by providing working capital facilities. About the Role Financial Sponsors (FS) – Pes, VCs, AIFs, Angel Funds, Family Offices play a significant role in the economy by providing financial support and expertise to businesses at different stages of growth. Axis Bank FS business plays a pivotal role as a banker to these funds as well as to their portfolio companies: We partner with all relevant internal and external stakeholders to deliver value to our end customers. Financial Sponsor (FS) Group Head is responsible for growing the business across various areas including onboarding new clients, flow business, FX, Liabilities, Fees Income, etc. Responsible for selling the Axis franchise to FS clients including Axis Capital, Axis Trustee, Burgundy Private, Gift City, Retail/Salary, etc. Position Axis as a key player and thought leader in the Financial Sponsor space. This is a fast-moving & evolving industry, and it will be important to keep a track on the developments and deals in the sector to increase market share across key areas.
