Senior Software Engineer focused on building robust JavaFX desktop applications for enterprise use, responsible for application architecture, reusable UI frameworks, and integration with backend services. This role requires strong Java and JavaFX skills, experience with UI patterns (MVC/MVVM), multithreading, build tools, and databases; it contributes to delivering high-quality desktop tools that support product and engineering teams in Bengaluru’s technology sector.

What you'll do

· Lead design and development of scalable JavaFX-based desktop applications

· Define architecture, design patterns, and coding standards for desktop projects

· Build reusable UI frameworks and custom JavaFX controls and components

· Integrate desktop clients with REST APIs, databases, and backend services

· Collaborate with architects, product teams, and business analysts on requirements

· Review code and provide constructive technical mentorship to team members

· Optimize performance, debug complex issues, and ensure application reliability

Who you are

· Proficient in Java (Java 11/17/21) with strong object-oriented design skills

· Experienced with JavaFX, FXML, Scene Builder, and JavaFX CSS styling

· Familiar with MVC/MVVM architecture and UI state management patterns

· Skilled in multithreading, concurrency, and asynchronous programming techniques

· Comfortable using Maven/Gradle and Git for builds and source control

· Knowledgeable about REST APIs, JSON, and relational databases (Postgres/MySQL/SQLite)

· Strong troubleshooting, profiling, and performance optimization capabilities

· Interest in desktop frameworks, AI/GenAI integration, or engineering tool domains
