Role Summary

Avanade India’s Applications & Engineering practice is looking for an Application Architect to own the architecture of the custom applications we build for clients. This is a hands-on architect role — the person in it sets the target architecture, proves it in code, and stays close enough to the build to be accountable for whether it works.

You will architect microservices and cloud-native applications on Azure, lead modernisation of monolithic and legacy .NET estates, and set the engineering and DevOps standards the delivery teams work to. You will also lead a team directly — guiding engineers and technical leads through build and release — and act as the design authority with client architects and review boards. We expect fluency with LLM-based development tools such as GitHub Copilot and Claude Code, and a clear view of how to use them well on client code.
