Education & Outreach Intern – Birding Bharat

About Ataavi Ataavi Bird Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to inspiring a love for birds and nature, particularly among young people. Ataavi is a social initiative enthusiastically supported by Zycus, a leader in procurement software globally. Through birdwatching experiences, educational initiatives, and community engagement, we aim to make birding accessible and enjoyable for people across India. Our flagship initiative, Birding Bharat, organizes birdwatching walks across Indian cities, open to people of all ages and backgrounds. Working with experienced birding guides and volunteers, we have already introduced nearly 10,000 people to the wonderful world of birds. Our ambition is to grow this from 10,000 to ONE MILLION people, creating a nationwide movement that connects people with nature and inspires them to protect birds and their habitats. About the Role We are looking for an enthusiastic, creative, tech-savvy, and self-driven Education & Outreach Intern to help scale Birding Bharat and expand Ataavi's educational initiatives. This is an opportunity to be part of an ambitious mission to introduce one million people to birdwatching, working with birding experts, volunteers, educational institutions, and communities across India. The role combines education, outreach, community building, technology, and program execution, with significant opportunities to take ownership of initiatives.
