Job description
Lead and manage the end-to-end operations, maintenance, reliability, safety, and performance of the Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) facility at Khavda. Ensure maximum system availability, compliance with safety standards, effective stakeholder coordination, and achievement of operational KPIs.
Responsibilities
- Manage overall BESS plant operations to ensure safe and reliable functioning.
- Monitor Battery Racks, PCS (Power Conversion System), EMS, SCADA, Transformer, HT/LT systems, and auxiliary systems.
- Ensure maximum plant availability and energy dispatch efficiency.
- Lead preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities.
- Analyze system failures and implement corrective actions.

- Develop asset reliability strategies and maintenance plans.
- Monitor battery performance, degradation trends, and lifecycle management.
- Drive root cause analysis (RCA) and implement reliability improvements.
- Optimize plant performance through data-driven decision-making.
Requirements
- B.E./B.Tech in Electrical, Electrical & Electronics, Power Systems, Instrumentation, or related discipline.
- M.Tech/MBA preferred.
