Service Engineer – HVAC Chillers Experience 3–8 years
Education Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Engineering Job Summary The Service Engineer – HVAC Chillers is responsible for installation support, preventive maintenance, breakdown service, troubleshooting, and overhauling of HVAC chiller systems. The role ensures optimal performance, reliability, energy efficiency, and customer satisfaction across assigned customer sites.
Key Responsibilities Installation & Commissioning
- Support installation, commissioning, and start-up of air-cooled and water-cooled chillers
- Verify system compliance with design specifications and safety standards
- Coordinate with project teams, contractors, and customers during commissioning
Service & Maintenance
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of HVAC chiller systems
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and control system faults
- Carry out overhauls, compressor servicing, oil analysis, and refrigerant handling
- Ensure timely closure of service calls and breakdowns
Technical Support
- Interpret wiring diagrams, P&IDs, and control logic
