Job description
Key Responsibilities
- Patient Assessment & Care: Evaluate patient conditions upon admission, monitor vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure), and execute individualized care plans.
- Clinical Procedures: Administer prescribed medications and intravenous (IV) fluids, perform wound dressings, assist with catheterization, and carry out emergency first aid.
- Physician Collaboration: Assist doctors and surgeons during examinations, diagnostic tests, and operations, reporting any sudden changes in a patient's status.
- Patient & Family Education: Explain treatment plans, medication schedules, lifestyle changes, and home-care instructions to patients and their families.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate, up-to-date medical charts, intake/output records, and shift reports in compliance with legal and facility standards.
