About the role: Position: Senior Executive – Malt & Distillation Function: Manufacturing / Operations Department: Malt & Distillation Level: L6B Reporting To: Manager / Senior Manager – Malt & Distillation
1. Job Purpose To manage and support day-to-day operations of the Malt and Distillation process, ensuring safe, efficient, consistent and compliant production while meeting quality, productivity, yield and cost objectives.
2. Key Responsibilities A. Malt Operations
- Monitor and manage malt production activities including raw material handling, cleaning, steeping, germination, kilning and malt storage.
- Ensure optimum process parameters are maintained for consistent malt quality.
- Monitor raw material consumption, process losses, yield and productivity.
- Coordinate with Quality and Laboratory teams for testing and release of malt.
- Identify process deviations and implement corrective actions.
