Role location Hybrid (two days in-office, three days virtual).
About the role As an Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning Engineer Lead, you will help develop and deploy advanced Generative AI and Agentic AI solutions that drive innovation across FIS. You will work alongside solution architects, data scientists, and machine learning engineers to build intelligent applications, agent-based systems, and enterprise AI integrations. This role combines deep technical expertise with hands-on development to deliver scalable, reliable, and business-focused AI solutions. Your key responsibilities
- Design, build, and deploy Generative AI applications leveraging large language models, retrieval systems, and enterprise data sources.
- Develop agent-based solutions incorporating planning, memory, tool usage, orchestration, and autonomous task execution.
- Implement and optimize Agentic AI workflows, including multi-agent systems and human-in-the-loop processes.
- Build and maintain RESTful services and enterprise integrations using Python, Flask, and FastAPI.
