Deputy Manager - Projects

The Site Engineer – Civil is responsible for overseeing, managing, and supervising all civil construction activities on-site thereby, ensuring the project is executed according to design specifications, safety standards, and within the established timeline and budget. The role involves supervising the workforce, coordinating with contractors, and maintaining quality and safety standards throughout the construction process.

Site Supervision: Oversee daily construction operations, ensuring strict adherence to project plans, drawings, Bar Bending Schedules (BBS), and specifications. Allocate and manage tasks for workers and contractors, ensuring optimal use of resources to maintain smooth workflow. Monitor work progress and provide technical guidance to resolve any issues or challenges that arise on-site.

• Coordination and Communication: Serve as a liaison between project managers, the engineering team, and other stakeholders, ensuring seamless coordination and efficient execution of tasks. Facilitate the timely delivery of materials and equipment to prevent delays, ensuring the project stays on schedule. Regularly communicate project updates and any on-site issues to senior management to ensure they are informed and can make timely decisions.

• Quality Control and Safety: Ensure that all construction activities are carried out in compliance with applicable codes, standards, and project requirements. Conduct regular quality checks on materials and completed work to ensure they meet project specifications. Enforce site safety protocols, conduct safety briefings (toolbox talks), and address any safety concerns immediately to maintain a hazard-free environment.
