Job description
Job Title - E&I Engineer Location - Pune SBU - TBWES OEM Department - E&I Engineering Qualification- BE in Instrumentation
Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform basic & detailed engineering for control and instrumentation systems.
- Develop and review P&IDs, instrumentation layouts, and wiring diagrams.
- Prepare technical specifications for instruments, control valves, analyzers, cables, JB, trays, sensors, and flow elements, flow meters, pneumatic actuators, PLC & DCS, UPS, etc.
- Review 3D models
- Basic Electricals
- Working on pre & post order engineering activities
- Meetings with customers, vendors & internal stakeholders, etc.
Prepare and review engineering documents such as:
- Instrument Index
- I/O List
- Hookup Drawings
- Loop Drawings
- JB & Cable Schedules
- BOM & BOQ
- Cable Tray Layouts
- Control Schemes, Logic Drawings & Control Writeup
Project Execution & Field Engineering:
- Lead and guide the E&I team in project execution and site activities.
- Oversee installation, commissioning, loop checks, and troubleshooting of field instruments, analysers, control systems, MCC, VFD, PDB panels, soft starters, motors, motorized actuators, illumination, earthing, lightning protection, cabling, impulse lines, turbines & alternators, BOP, etc.
- Ensure smooth integration of PLC, DCS, SCADA, and field instrumentation systems.
- Collaborate with OEMs, vendors, and clients for technical discussions and approvals.
