Job Profile
a) Key Objectives
• Candidate shall independently perform/create and deliver electrical engineering deliverables for MW/GW scale Green Hydrogen / Alkaline Electrolyser plants and related projects.
• Candidate shall lead basic and detailed electrical engineering, equipment selection, vendor coordination, testing and commissioning support for transformers, rectifiers, MCC, MV/LV and associated electrical systems.
• Candidate shall ensure engineering is in accordance with project/client requirements, applicable codes and standards.
b) Major Deliverables
Transformers & Rectifier:
- Selection/sizing and technical
specification of power, converter/rectifier transformers considering rating, impedance, vector group/phase shifting, harmonics, losses, cooling and overload.
- Strong knowledge of diode, thyristor,
IGBT, AFE and 6/12/24-pulse rectifier technologies; evaluate efficiency, power factor, harmonics, DC ripples, dynamic response and reliability.
