Job description
To lead and manage the construction, erection, testing, commissioning, billing coordination, and material management activities related to Turbine Generator (TG), Integral Piping Systems, and BHEL-supplied equipment for thermal power projects. The role is responsible for ensuring timely project execution, effective contractor billing management, material reconciliation, coordination with BHEL and EPC agencies, and adherence to project quality, safety, cost, and schedule requirements.
Responsibilities
Lead erection, installation, testing, and commissioning activities of Turbine Generator (TG) packages and associated auxiliaries.
Manage construction and execution of integral piping systems including HP, LP, MP steam piping, condensate piping, feed water piping, drain systems, and auxiliary piping networks.
Coordinate with BHEL, EPC contractors, consultants, vendors, and internal stakeholders for execution of project milestones.
Monitor work progress and ensure mechanical construction activities are completed as per approved project schedules.
