Senior Executive (Shift Safety Executive_ Safety & Health)
Position Details
Department: Safety & Health (EHS)
Location: Nandesari
Shift: Rotational Shifts
Reporting To: Lead – Safety & Health
Purpose of the Role
To ensure effective implementation of fire, safety, and health systems during shift operations by preventing incidents, ensuring statutory compliance, and supporting emergency preparedness to protect people, property, and the environment.
Key Responsibilities
· Ensure compliance with safety policies, SOPs, PTW system, and statutory requirements during shift operations.
· Conduct plant safety inspections, fire audits, and gap assessments as per applicable standards.
· Manage fire and safety manpower during assigned shifts.
· Support HAZOP, HIRA, JSA, PSM, and PSSR activities.
· Ensure upkeep and readiness of firefighting systems and emergency equipment.
· Participate in incident and near-miss investigations and implement CAPA.
· Coordinate emergency response activities and mock drills.
· Train employees and contractors on SOPs, P&IDs, and safe work practices.
· Coordinate with Production, Maintenance, Electrical, Instrumentation, HR, and Security teams.
· Support internal and external audits including ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
Education /Qualification & Experience
Require BSC/MSC Fire Safety or Chemistry + PDIS with 8 to 10 yrs or BE CHEMICAL/ any graduate engineer + PDIS 4 to 5 yrs
