Shift Operations Engineer (O&M- Mechanical)

Responsible for taking care of the mechanical maintenance work of the PSP Hydro facility in Chitravati, Andhra Pradesh. This role is pivotal in ensuring optimal power generation, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement within the pump storage Plant. The position aligns with Adani Group’s mission to drive sustainable energy solutions and supports PSP Hydro’s strategic focus on operational excellence, risk management, and stakeholder collaboration.

• Ensure reliable, safe and efficient operation of all generating units, auxiliaries, and balance of Plant systems.

• Supports mechanical maintenance section head in ensuring full compliance with Statutory HSS, environmental and technical requirements from central and state governmental bodies (i.e. CEA, CERC, DSA, SCEI, AP/CPCB etc. compliances).

• Responsible for PTW, LOTO, isolations, HIRA, TBT, JSA for assigned areas.

• Maintains drainage and dewatering system, firefighting system, HVAC system, oil handling units, hydro mechanical systems and other BOP mechanical equipment at acceptable standards, aiming at zero breakdown.

• Preparation and implementation of SOPs, SMPS and testing procedures for assigned systems.

• Preparation and implementation of assigned maintenance reports and checklists for assigned systems, including daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports and checklists. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, testing results, and Plant drawings etc.
