Job Purpose:- The purpose of this role is to lead and manage the maintenance function of the factory, ensuring maximum uptime, reliability, and efficiency of injection moulding machines, auxiliary equipment, and plant utilities.
Key Responsibilities:-
· Equipment reliability: Ensuring all IMM machines and supporting systems operate at peak with minimal downtime.
· Preventive maintenance: Developing and implementing preventive maintenance schedules to reduce breakdowns.
· Safety compliance: Maintaining strict adherence to safety standards, statutory requirements, and environmental regulations.
· Cost efficiency: Optimizing maintenance costs through effective resource planning spare parts management, and vendor coordination.
· Team leadership: Leading, training, and motivating the maintenance team to build technical expertise and accountability.
· Continuous improvement: Driving innovation in maintenance practices, adopting new technologies, and supporting lean manufacturing initiatives.
· Emergency response: Ensuring quick and effective troubleshooting during machine breakdowns to minimize production loss.
Departmental Reports:- Preparation of the Departmental reports
Manpower Handling: Supervision of technicians/operators, task allocation, productivity monitoring.
Spares Sourcing: Spare parts identification, procurement planning, and inventory management.
Vendor Communication: Coordination with suppliers, negotiation, and ensuring timely delivery.
Audit Preparation: Documentation and compliance support for ISO, ENMS, and safety audits.
Government Coordination: Liaison with authorities such as MSEDCL (Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Co. Ltd.), Electrical Inspector, and other statutory bodies.
Regulatory Compliance: statutory requirements, regulatory filings, and adherence to safety/environmental norms. & Safety Compliance & Standards

Ensure

Maintain
compliance with applicable statutory and regulatory requirements related with MSEDCL authorities and EE Office.
Support

Educational Qualification

B.E. Electronics/B.E.Electrical
Preferred: Electrical Knowledge, Elect Sup Licence issued by Electrical Inspector
