Hospital Billing Operations

• Prepare and process bills for OPD, IPD, emergency, pharmacy, diagnostics, procedures, and other hospital services.

• Ensure accurate capture of consultations, investigations, medicines, consumables, room charges, procedures, and other applicable services.

• Verify charges against physician orders, service records, approved tariffs, and hospital billing policies.

• Generate interim bills, final bills, discharge bills, invoices, and payment receipts.

• Ensure correct application of approved packages, discounts, concessions, and contractual rates.

• Identify and rectify billing discrepancies and prevent revenue leakage.

B. Insurance and TPA Billing

• Coordinate with insurance companies and Third-Party Administrators (TPAs) for cashless patient billing.

• Verify insurance eligibility, pre-authorisation approvals, sanctioned amounts, and patient co-payment requirements.
